Таких светлых лиц одухотворённых людей так не хватает в наших краях...

 

I invoke Iśvara in guru

The guru is a human being. When the guru is praised, however, as in the following mantra, the human element is not taken into account.

 gururbrahma gururvishnuh gururdevo maheśvarah

 gurureva param brahma tasmai śrigurave nama h

 

  The guru is Brahma, the guru is Vishnu, the guru is Maheśvara,

 the guru is the self-revealing limitless Brahman.

Namah to that sacred Guru!

 

Only Sat is taken into account because the guru teaches that you are Brahman, you are beyond akaśa-kala-karma-nama-rupa-antahkarana /space-time-causality-name-form-antahkarana/. 

 

Everything is this limitless sacred Brahman. So, when you praise the guru, the human element is just completely absorbed in the Sacred. In that way, the guru who teaches Sacred, the person with human body and  antahkarana which are simply karma-instruments for dharmasadhana, becomes a kind of an altar for worship, but what is being invoked is the ईश्वर /Iśvara/.

 

When we, for example, worship the form of śri Dakshinamurti  in the temple, it is not the form we are worshiping, but the ईश्वर. We are invoke and worship ईश्वर in a particular form. Similarly, when you praise the person who teaches you and for whom you have śraddha, it is not individual person you praise, but the teaching itself, for what he teaches is not separates from him!

 

Praise of the guru is praise for Sat of AtmaVidya!

Praise for Brahman that we can perceive and understand only through avaranam of akaśa-kala-karma-nama-rupa-antahkarana and in our antahkarana formless Brahman transforming in God with nama-rupa that is to-in Iśvara…
